    Hello all,

I am SO happy to be here on this site! My precious boy, Tiny Dancer, was diagnosed last month with Diabetes. He is 10 years old (going to be 11 in September) and I adopted him from Animal Services where I volunteered for years. Tiny was born with Radial Hypoplasia (I have 2 special needs cats) and lives a normal life (just has to walk on his front forearms and use his strong back legs - no pain involved as I have researched much about this).

He is on 1 unit of Lantus twice a day and just started having breathing issues, so I am so very this site to have this forum to come to! Thank you for having us!!

(Below is Tiny Dancer waiting for his food! <3 He can walk some on his strong hind legs as well! He's the ONLY man in my life! <3 <3 <3

Thank you all so very much. After 9 years with my beloved Tiny Dancer, I had to take him to emergency this morning because of breathing difficulties - he was panting - (I thought it was just the insulin and could be fixed). They took an x-ray and he has a large lymphoma and his lungs were pretty full of fluids and they said it would only get worse with every passing day. I didn't want him to suffer and they recommended putting my beautiful boy down. Because I don't want him to suffer even one day, I made the decision to put him down. I am totally heartbroken and totally lost right now.

I'm glad you got to meet my beloved boy - the very best man I have ever known in my life.

I will be leaving this site in awhile - I'm too upset to even focus right now, but wanted to let you guys know. He was a loving, sweet and very good boy for the 9 years he was in my life. I don't know how I'll go on without him. Wish I had found this site when he was first diagnosed a month ago.

Thank you for all of your support!

Oh what terrible news. I'm so sorry it was time to say goodbye. Cancer is just horrendous.
