    Hey Lucy!! How are u guys? Good to hear from you..perhaps u can shed some knowledge about the weight loss.. I've asked this question but haven't got an answer yet.. can switching a cat who's been on dry food who is not diabetic to all wet food cause any of this?

    Hi Karen, sorry Facie is having problems. It could be from switching foods, yes, but since it's been a little while and you did the switch gradually (the right way!) I'm thinking it's probably something else. If it was a blockage, I think by now he'd be vomiting large quantities, and in a LOT of pain, so I kind of doubt that's it. I'm more inclined to suspect a food allergy, IBS/IBD, or pancreatitis. Kidney disease will also cause the symptoms he is showing. The big thing right now is to keep him eating until you can get to the vet; great idea to crush up his treats and use them as a topper! You can also crush a bit of the dry he was eating and use that as a topper. Please keep us posted and let us know what the vet says! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
