That's great news!!! So glad everything looks good. Maybe check out the FOOD LIST to see if you can find a food that is higher in calories?

Thank u.. still doesn't explain the weight loss. Which frankly, I found more upsetting than i initially thought uoon finding out it was 3 lbs in a little over a month. Too much too fast. I'm gonna try giving him a bit higher calorie food. I desperately would like for him to gain a little without any dry

Hopefully it’s just a matter of needing more calories. Did you have his thyroid checked?

Yes she said it was a full panel and everything was perfect even Dental. So I'm now going to study on what's the best caloric content brand of food to where the phosphorus Isn't So High

3lb loss in one month is a little concerning. Hopefully it's due to just needing more calorie intake.

Great! I was just checking because thyroid levels aren’t always included in bloodwork. Fingers and paws crossed that the increase in calories will do the trick! Keep us posted.

If you have to go the dry route, you could try Young Again Zero Carb, I believe it is pretty calorie-dense.

Ok thanks. Any suggestions on how to re-introduce it should I go that route?

Just slowly add more of the new and less of the old till the transition is complete.

Yeah I kind of figured that. But he's obviously more of a dry food junkie than I thought. I mean right now I'm feeding him like every hour and a half a little bit and I crunch up a few Temptations treats and mix it in and he'll dig in I know he's going for those pieces and then he's done. Now I free feed my wet food however I put new down through four times a day good amount. But he's go back and eat once the food's been put down he wants a new can mr. Particular LOL

I do have to wonder if you stopped the Temptation bits if he would get even better numbers. @JanetNJ used them for a hypo event for her CC once and I think it made CC's BG go through the roof . YA (Young again) makes treats as well. Their food is nutrient /calorie dense so they don't need to eat as much. I could never remove dry from Maury's diet or he would starve himself and sing the song of his people 24/7!:p. The 8lb bag lasts him as long as his 28lb bag of his old food .

Here's there site if you want to read more about the food: https://www.youngagainpetfood.com/zero-formula.html

Thank you because I even put different kinds of Meow Mix & different kinds of can. I feed him in my room separate.. he is not diabetic, but he is not eating. I think he's a dry food addict. I hate to admit that, but I'm going to have to try the dry food you talk about because he goes nuts if he hears the treat jar.. I mean he goes nuts. I really think he misses his crunchies

Be careful with temptations. My cat was heading low once and I have her 4-5 temptations and he numbers rose 100 points right away. It was at that moment I came to understand how she became diabetic in the first place.

Cats will literally starve themselves for the food they want. I hope you find something soon that will give into his crunchie addiction and works with your other furkids.
