Hope you find the reason for the weight loss and it’s easily remedied. Please keep us posted

I'm interested - what were the results? The spreadsheet is good, but missing a lot of nadir readings. It is possible that Govie is not regulated, and in that case he would not be soaking up enough calories.

You're obviously answering the wrong thread the title here is sivi weight loss this is regarding my sivi. Disregard the typos I'm using the microphone Govi is my diabetic she's under LL land. Although I thank you for your interest I'm going nuts either way it doesn't matter I'm at the point where I've had it. Trying to feed one cat one thing another cat another thing I've got three cats and it's just it's taking me there so I can't do it anymore I just can't do it mentally I can't take it. One's not eating I'm not going to give him dry food he's lost 3 pounds in one month I just cost me 179 at the vet a couple days ago and I just don't have it like that. so I'm going to put down what I put down if he doesn't need it he doesn't need it and there's nothing I can do

:bighug: I understand your frustration. I have a multiple cat house (11) and some are kibble addicts and though others are on Friskies pate, that food spikes Colin’s BG so I have to keep it away from him. It took me a long time to get a routine that worked and I still screw it up sometimes, but it did get easier. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I totally understand you, I have three civies two with PKD one of them with stage 2 CKD and the third one is very young (less than 2 years) what I did was change them all first to wet food that helped a lot after that I worked on food that would be suitable for the three sick ones and I give the young one a different food two or three times a week to supplement usually at night when I 'm at home and can supervise her

Regarding the weight loss of your civie I hope the blood work gives you some information.

How old is she? Does she has any problems with arthritis? Or could she be in pain for something teeth for example
    Pain can cause weight loss

I stated earlier, the blood work all came back fine. I had feared pancreatitis at first. Seriously not wanting to go to dry food again, I get Friskies cat concoctions Which is higher in calories and I give it to him in my room but sometimes my other cat gets ahold of it It's just tough and it starts really getting to me and I'm just venting so don't mind me I guess

Hey is OK to vent this is probably one of the few places where we get it, all this is hard and stressing.

I'm sorry if I missed the part where you mentioned that the blood work came back fine, which is really good.

Did they included in a thyroid test? Thyroid problems could also cause the weight loss

I have a kitty that was in pain (cats are really good in hiding pain) because of cysts (it happens also with stones) nothing new showed in her blood work she was eating a lot and loosing weigh the vet performed surgery to remove them and that helped a lot

You know what the vet said everything came back fine and she started naming off things like no diabetes, thyroid, Im pretty sure she said thyroid, but you know I don't even know if they really do things right I mean it was supposed to be sent out the blood work I mean and I just felt that it came back awful quick the next morning so I don't know I just I'm just a little confused at this point I really am but I just went to the store and got several more varieties of little wet foods for him to try and we'll go from there I'm just really against and wholeheartedly holding out on giving him dry food
