? End of daylight savings?

In Europe, daylight savings time will end this Saturday. I know the same will happen in the US on November 5th.
I already calculated the preshot hours so that after 12 hours I will return to the hour I'm most comfortable with, but how do you work with the +1 +2 +3 BG testings during that cycle?

I do hope that my post will remind those who forgot out the time change about it.

 

For Leo, I don't vary his dose more than an hour. So this works fine with the clock shift. I'll test him around +6 or +7.

 

I get hung up by this every time it changes! I stink at anything involving numbers and calculations - I have a terrible time remembering which direction of the clock I'm supposed to go to work my way round the change.

 

Well the whole system of changing clocks is silly. I guess they did it to give us a sense of jetlag for those who don't like to travel.

 

Silly? You don't live in a country where one island is a half hour off from everyone else. Only in Canada.

 

Lol, I live in a tiny town that seems to be "geographically, two weeks away from everything"!

 

Newfoundland Canada, The Rock! Since I was a kid I'd hear "Hockey at 7:00 in Toronto, 8:00 in Montreal and 8:30 in Newfoundland." It's a beautiful place, Kids in the hall! "I'm squishing your head".

 

Maybe it would be easier to think about it this way if you're a summer person:
When daylight savings end, you move the clock 1 hour back because you want to go back to the summertime, and in the Spring you move the clock 1 hour forward because you're looking forward to Summer (?)

 

Spring ahead, Fall back. Some people adjust their dose 10 minutes a day for 6 days or 15min X 4. Whatever works without being drastic.

 

Spring forward- fall back! I can do that much but I don’t know what time it is in the rest of the state! Only a small sw tip of IN goes with IL

 

I can’t believe we said that at the same time!!!

A whole TV network devoted to the weather. That's messed up. I look out the door, smells like rain. Boot up a computer to check what colour the sky is?

 

Mexico is changing this saturday too, this change is not so bad summer time change is the one that really messes me up
