    good morning,
My sweet Teddy is at 162 this morning. I couldn't stall this morning.
But I was wondering if anyone thinks I should give 0.25 of insulin? I just wonder because that tiny amount worked good last night.
But since I'm not home today could that tiny amount still make him go to low? Or should I just be safest and skip his shot?

Or maybe skip morning and check him for pm and give some insulin then if needed?

    Thanks xo

Hey Shawna! Are you still around or did you already leave for work?

For what it's worth, I think you could give 0.25 today. You've got some good data from last night that at +5 he didn't go too low...so he still had 50 points to drop before take action number...and even that isn't necessarily a hypo. It's nerve wracking some, for sure!

I'm so sorry I'm asleep during your AMPS time! I think it would have been fine to give 0.25u, but I also think it's okay if you didn't and decided to just leave him. Your data last night showed that it might be a good dose for now on those mid blues, but with only one cycle, I understand why it might have been easier on your worry muscles to skip!

I'm glad to see that cycle last night ran a little lower with the lower dose. Hopefully that will continue!

    Hi friend!
Sorry I had already left for work. And I ended up not giving him any because I just didn't want to risk anything. But I think it would have been ok too.
Thanks for your response! Just when I think I have this figured out.......I realize I don't lol :banghead:
