    Hello Everyone,

Pip has not needed insulin in a few weeks now and everything has been normal. The past couple days though it seems that she will throw-up hours after eating and only after night feeding. For example I feed her at 6pm and I will wake up at 2am to her throwing-up. Mostly liquid with some bits in it (sorry gross!). I also noticed that her poop is dark, but still solid. Other than that she is actively playing and grooming and seems fine.

    Any thoughts?

Throwing up on an empty stomach usually means nausea and/or acidy tummy. My IBD cat did this all the time until I got a timed feeder so he can eat every four hours. Very rare morning or middle of the night pukes anymore. I also give him pepcidAC if it does happen.

We have the same thing. A little pepcid goes a long way. Also we changed foods. Turns out the FF Classics caused his problems, and since changing foods we haven't really needed it.

Food can make a big difference.
