These numbers are killing me. I want to increase so bad. I am really leaning towards it tomorrow AM. That would be six cycles going into the weekend so I will know what he is doing on the new dose.

Hope everyone has a great day. We have a cold front moving through. It is currently 69* (warmest it will be today). Tomorrow at this time it will be 43*

Good luck if you increase the dose tomorrow. I hope Gizmo is still feeling better.

Do what will keep him safe and give you peace of mind while you are busy at work for a few weeks, as you mentioned.

Come on Gizmo :bighug: Happy Tuesday to you , Lizzie :bighug: Praying your regular vet Office reopens soon. Seems crazy you all are still suffering the effects of the hurricane/flooding . Many prayers on completed recovery :bighug:

When I went by to pick up meds from where they are practicing - our favorite Vet Tech Bill said they are hoping to reopen by the end of the year.

Oh, the horror stories you should hear. Every time I say a blessing for them and a prayer of thanksgiving that it did not impact us! One gal that I work with got caught in a scam (contractor).

Gizmo looks very content indeed, love the photo you shared. Vines that he continues in his recovery, that you are able to catch up on much needed rest, and that his body healing will help bg to stabilize.

You should have seen him last night when I got home from work - you would have thought I had been gone a month  He was so funny - I would have thought he would be happy to be left alone all day with no one bothering him. But it sure was nice to have him meet me at the door

Heck of a lot colder now. Like 40s. I worry about my outside cats, specially my persiany tabby who wheezes.

As to the dosecrease. Well, I know how you feel. I'm in the same spot. Problem is that without testing every few hours thru-out the night, I don't know if/when she's going green.

Long as you're home all weekend, you'll probably be safe with an increase.

    Brrrrrrrrr.

I love it. I finally get to wear a new sweater tomorrow that I bought two months ago!

Will the outside kitties sleep in boxes? Put some hay in a double wall boxes (like what the 3-1gallon jugs of water jugs come in) and face the opening away from the wind (facing south).

Glad you can wear you NEW sweater!

My outside cats have a nice dry barn with wool rugs, and lots of nooks and crannies to cuddle into, in an old bureau that's in the barn. But my wheezy cat is scared to use it, ever since I surprised and panicked her a few months ago, when I went inside to get some tools. Sigh. I sure hope she uses it during the next 48 hours, because it's going to rain like mad. Cats can survive cold pretty well, if you feed the well, but wet rain will finish them off.

I have some old 5 gallon water jugs. I wonder if I cut off the tops stuff sheep wool and straw in it, and stabilize it somehow, might they use it? Stabilizing it is a big challenge, though.

I also have an old PetSmart Igloo that the dog refuse to use. I could drag it out of their area, wash it, and put it somewhere the cats like to hide.
It's extremely well insulated - even has a curved entrance hall, so wind can't get into it. However after 10 years of neglect, it may now be a place where others hibernate, like rattlers ..... eek.
    entrance.
