    So glad there is such a place such as this . I have 4 cats i rescued from the streets over the years. Two months ago one of them got diagnosed with diabetes. Been using Lantus for 2 months and still having hard time getting him down. Almost ready to give up

    Two months is still very early in his treatment. Don't give up - we can help. I suggest you go post on the Lantus forum. There are a ton of very experienced people there to get you started.

    Sorry you are struggling. Remember is a marathon. 2 months is not that long. I didn't even see a number under 300 until 3 months into insulin.

    Welcome to the forum. You are getting great advice from some of our very experienced members. As they hinted, the Lantus forum is a good place for you to get help. Kudos to you for taking care of rescued kittehs.
