Can anyone recommend or suggest a hairball remedy? Bella is long haired and is prone to hair balls. I had been giving her PetArmor hair ball remedy, but I’m sure that’s a no go with her diagnosis. It contains: Corn syrup, malt syrup, petroleum, cane molasses soybean oil, etc etc.
She’s stable right now and off insulin. I certainly don’t want to rock the boat.
    Thank you!

Check the sugar content of the syrups. The "petroleum" in petroleum jelly doesn't necessarily mean gasoline like my mom used to say but check anyways, cats aren't meant to eat certain things.
Your cat looks exactly like one of mine that lived to 23, your off to a good start. :)

Thanks. The petroleum doesn’t concern me,it’s the corn sryup, malt syrup and molasses... they would shoot her glucose up....
