Ever since I switched Mogee over to Fancy Feast Classics, I have been finding tiny particles of bone in the food.

I think I read on here somewhere that may be normal? That kind of rested my worries.

But more recently it seems some are larger and really sharp?

This morning I fed him Turkey and Giblets and Tender Liver and Chicken and found this nice sized bone, which is rather sharp.

Can someone please advise me on why bone may be in the food and if or when I should be alarmed? Appreciate it!

Bone pieces of that size are OK. Note that when a cat eats a mouse, they eat the bones too.

But those mouse bones haven't been cooked. My understanding is that cooked bones can cause perforations, not raw bones.

That really applies to chicken bones since when chewed they produce sharp splinters which is not like the bones fragments I have found in cat food.
