I am beyond relieved as Darwin ate his whole breakfast this morning! I woke up to a purring machine! He seemed to feel just fine last night (was even running around and enjoying his Bupe dose), but really didn’t eat much, and had me in a bit of a panic! :blackeye:

Fooled me! He seems his normal self today :D:D

Vines and love to all the kitties today!! :bighug:

Glad to hear that he is doing fine:bighug::bighug::bighug:.

I would like to ask why he needs all that extraction?? He is still young at 7 years! Is it his gum or something else?

My cat needs one tooth extraction and i am really worry :(

Thanks!! He had Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions (FORLs) - basically the body is eating away at the teeth, and it can cause very painful lesions. He had several removed in October by my regular vet (where I work), but the specialist felt he was likely to continue to have problems, and recommended removing the rest before they become painful as well. It’s a shame, but better for him to have it all done at this age than when he’s older. It’s acrually fairly common in kitties.

Yeah, Darwin! Passed with flying colors, like we knew he would! I'm so glad it's behind you and he's feeling so great right after the surgery. :bighug:

Thanks so much everyone for the kind words!
Darwin is a bit quieter now that I’m home checking on him at lunch - his eyes are watering (which may just be a flare up of his herpes due to the stress), but his face is a bit puffy too. Poor boy! Gave some Bupe (which he was very good for!), but he is still eating his snacks like an absolute champ! :joyful:

I’ve attached the most adorable photo that the girls at the specialist took of him!! :cat:

Oh that face and those eyes! He’s such a cutie! Hope the swelling goes down soon and I’m just silly to see a photo of a cat with no teeth yawning, if you ever get one! ;)
