Hi I have read the research kindly done by others on here and have been purchasing accordingly. unfortunately Cleo seems to quite often just lick the jelly off the 'meat' . Because the only other food I have is prescription dry food, sometimes I give her a small amount of this just so she is eating something. I have read some give raw meat - I am not keen on doing that. If I cooked chicken for her and gave her that chopped up occasionally, and canned tuna - are they suitable alternatives to the pouches/trays of shop bought food. is there anything else I can feed her? many thanks

You might try running it through a blender to give it a smoother consistency that she can just "lap up"

Maybe try foods with a paté consistency?

Add water to the food to make it soupy.

You could try chopping up chicken and adding it to her existing food. Most cats will eat chicken so if it's mixed with a complete food that might help her to get eating. You could also try a little tuna but not too much - it's not good for cats to have a lot of fish and they can get addicted to it.
What food are you giving atm? You may find that another brand/variety is more to her taste.
