    I did Pepper's curve last night. Is it right to assume a dose increase should be given, starting this pm?

    Based just on the curve alone, I would raise the dose a little, but I try to hold a dose at least the three cycles recommended on this site. It really takes at least that long to truly see the impact of a dose. I'm not sure why you lowered on the morning of 1/12; there could be a story there that I do not know. You are just on your second consecutive cycle at 2. If you decide to go ahead and raise a little bit now (which would probably be fine), I would just suggest trying to hold the new dose for a few consecutive cycles before making another change. The exception to that being only if her PS number is super low. The more mid-cycle numbers you can grab, the more you will know the impact of shooting on lower numbers and the more comfortable you will become with knowing when to hold a dose and when to reduce based on PS. That's my two cents... :)

    I got nervous because her appetite was lower and her numbers were lower ( I understand that's what we want), but I'm not home with her and freaked out.

    She probably does need a little increase, but I agree with holding the dose at least 3 cycles before you do. Some cats need time to settle in to a dose before increasing.

    Totally understandable that when you're not home and she isn't eating as well you'd lower a bit. Does she eat more when you leave? Are you able to leave food out for her?

    I agree that a small increase to 2.25 u could work. The general ProZinc guideline is to hold a dose for at least 3 cycles. If a dose is giving you nice nadir numbers then you'd hold it longer of course. Good curve, though, from the perspective of indicating what this dose can do.

    Pepper is only 268 and its time for her pm shot. What should I give her? I'm really nervous.

    I'm sorry - just seeing this now. I was out for a couple of hours. I see you gave her 1.25 u. That should be a safe dose. Why not try to get a +3 to have a reference for the next time she gives you a yellow PS?

    @Kris & Teasel

    Its a good thing I test before every shot. I was so worried earlier about increasing her dose tonight because of her am BG and of course she surprised me and was lower than usual this pm.

    That pre shot testing is SO important! I've been surprised many times by a PS that came out of nowhere. :confused:

    Peppers +4 was 325. So, it is going up instead of down
