    Can someone please look at Mogee's SS and give me some advice. Please!

    His PMPS and AMPS were super high last night and this morning. I thought maybe it was because his dose is getting to high and he is either dropping too low or is dropping to much to fast, so I reduced his dose.

    Now he is 283 @ +7 today which is really high. I think I should have stayed with the 3 units but the past couple of weeks he has had two days where he dropped really low and it bugs me being at work during the day wondering if he is low so it is hard for me to give the 3 units.

    Any advice??

    Thanks guys!

    He's on ProZinc, right? Maybe folks in the P forum can help?

    A high PS can indeed mean he dropped low during the cycle and came back up, but I'm not familiar enough with ProZinc to say much more, I'm afraid.

    @Kris & Teasel maybe?

    Yes, Prozinc. I just posted there too. I was thinking that was what is happening. Going to low and causing high PS. That why I lowered his dose this morning, since I couldn't test today until +7 but he was high then. Just worries me. I know his pancreas has to be doing something because of the hypo last week on that 3.5 units and the low #s at 3 units. Worried he is dropping to low at night after my +5 tests.

    Thank you! ☺

    There's nothing alarming on your SS right now. Those blues are nice but there's room to come down a little more. The rebound to pink off and on is also a fairly common pattern with bouncy-ish cats. Getting +6 and beyond tests at night are hard unless you set an alarm - maybe on a weekend? I suggest you try 3.25 u soon to see if you can nudge his nadir down a little but do it on a weekend when you can monitor more easily. You can learn to eyeball the dose with a little practice.

    Sounds good. Thank you for the advice. I am am going to try that this weekend when I am home to test during the day. And yes, it has been hard for me to get late night, into early morning tests. During the weekend it is not as bad.
