    If you are raising the dose systematically, it's unlikely that you overshot what would be a good dose. Many cats' insulin needs increase. The best dose is the dose the cat needs.

    Ok, was really concerned on that. Just seemed odd that we were getting greens then change dose and none. :(

    It also helps to remember than insulin is a hormone not a drug. It's not like you add a little bit of insulin and the numbers get a little bit better. You just have to keep increasing until the numbers all improve - instead of just a random green here and there.

    Same thing going on with Silver. Baffles me. No real reason given. “Cats do their thing”. Hopefully both our kitties will see green again soon.

    Every cat is different, yes, but as Wendy said, it is a hormone and hormones do act differently then drugs. Eventually both our kitties will he back into greens.
