I am in an emergency vet with another cat. I understand there is a 1 hour window with ProZinc. However how much can that be stretched if needed. Her dose is normally at 10 which is not going to happen so I guess 11 is the nearest. I am an hour away so this will be close.

We generally say plus or minus an hour without much effect. If it ends up being two hours late you can back up that extra hour in two 30 minute increments, one tomorrow AM and the second in the PM. You can do those predictive +2 tests in those cycles to see if all is well.

Thank you so much. Dude is a 12 year old male that I found when he was a newborn only 100 grams. Everyone said he would not make it but here we are 12 years later.

Thank you. I drove home, gave her the injection and turned around and am back at Emergency Vet. Will miss +2 and she won’t come out for wife to test. I can only hope for the best.

I hope all is well with Dude. I'm sure Goma will have weathered this schedule blip easily. :)

Thank you - Turned out Dude now appears to have epilepsy and has been given medications (in addition to heart) to hopefully alleviate the seizures he has had. Problem is it takes 2 to 3 weeks to become effective so I may have to go through this for a while yet. Hopefully not but they cannot perform a CT or MRI as they need to anaesthetize him but because of existing heart problem they do not want to do this. Follow up exam for him will be Sunday morning.

Goma did rather well - numbers don't reflect it, but she seemed truly happy to see me around later today. Could only manage a 15 minute early shoot tonight due to all that has gone on. Will attempt 30 minutes in the morning.

Sorry to hear about Dude's diagnosos, but at least you know what you're dealing with, and have a treatment plan going forward now. Sending more vines for him! :cat::bighug:
