@Wendy&Neko do you think I can give him 0.25u R right now? He only eats half of his meal and comes back to finish setting +2...
He's only going to go up from here without R.

Update his SS please. ;) When do you think his nadir will be tonight? You don't want the R nadir to coincide with the Lantus nadir.

Probably past +6. If he gets R. If he doesn't get R I don't think he will move much at all. Will probably surf in pink.
I'm testing him at +2 and see what he's doing.
Honestly, I think it's hard to tell when R peaks and wears out. I think it gets used up by the food spike. Until we reach a dose that actually shows a drop after eating, I don't think we will get a clear picture on what R can do for him. Other than surfing until lantus onset.

Just by looking at his 2018 SS, I find it hard to determine when the Lantus is onsetting. It's at least +3, but maybe earlier? A few more +2 tests when he's not bouncing and you aren't using R might help clarify that. If the L is onsetting at +3, then R is onsetting at +2. As you run more tests and gather more data, the picture will become clearer about the R nadir and duration. Neko would sometimes do a big drop at her Lev onset, so I had to try to avoid the R nadir and L onset coinciding too.

I gave him the 0.25 R at +2... He was eating the rest of his dinner.
    I will monitor.
