Yum earned a decrease at PMPS.
@Wendy&Neko If she goes low again tonight, would I give her another decrease at AMPS?
Now I've probably jinxed it. It might be best to jinx it.
She didn't eat much at her PMPS. I will work on that over the next few hours. She might be holding out for fancy feast, but she might also be too sleepy to care.
It is scary thinking about the large doses and their huge depots.

She is very lethargic this evening. Or half asleep. She comes to me for her all too frequent BG tests when she hears me preparing everything, even before I ask, even though she doesn't want a food reward. She is such a good cat.

Would Yum be interested in a little snack, now?

I got her to lick at some radcat raw with oily DHA "gravy". Not enough. I am pretty sure she will eat Fancy Feast if I offer it. I don't want to go there yet.

I’m in the same position. Silver earned a dose decrease tonight. Best not to do back to back reductions tho as the depot is still in play. It can take up to six cycles to see where the reduced dose will take him.

I just fed a can of FF low carb to bring him up for a few hrs. I creep up on Silver when he is sleeping. Quietly prick his ear and voila we are done.

I wouldn't. The 16.5 unit depot is still influencing today. The larger depot can influence 6 cycles after a reduction, especially on larger doses. There are some things you can do to help interrupt the larger depot. One is to do a BCS, taking off even 1/3 or 1/2 of the dose on the cycle after a reduction. 1/3 worked for me a couple times, others need 1/2. ECID, you need to learn what works for Yum.

You do have a wild card in there with the acro tumour. It can pulse up and down. But at least that is relatively slow.

A BCS is just a single cycle huge reduction? BCS isn't in the glossary---maybe it is big chicken?
Interesting re the tumor pulsing. I was wondering about the speed. Thanks.

It's late and I am a bit dense at the moment. Maybe you mean take 1/2 to 1/3 off the full dose after a bright green, then do the actual 1 unit reduction on the next cycle.
Looks like Yum has started to rise tonight. Whew.

I keep an eye on Pig's spread sheet. I know there is a dose out there with his name on it. Hang in there.

Agreed. I think we are getting close. The Levemir seems easier to work with in conjunction with the R. We will get there, sooner than later, I think! Thank you! So nice to see Yum getting those beautiful numbers finally! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
