I think I need to increase his lantus.
He will benefit from a lantus increase more than a drop off R every night. So I'll hold off on the R until we see what the lantus increase will do.

That is so strange, those epic food spikes. It's almost like duration stops dead after preshot. Very unusual patterns. I hope it shifts a bit with the L increase. Hang in there.

Steph deserves a medal for dealing with one of the most difficult to dose cats around.

 

Have you tried different foods Steph? I find certain Foods will send Colin up 200pts or more even though they are LC foods. Friskies is one. I use it to bring him up when he goes too low!

 

I do the same thing. He did ok on friskies for a couple days when I ran out (and we had bad weather) of 9lives but he gets bored with it and only likes a few flavors. When he needs a little boost I'll give him a spoonful of friskies. If he's too low I still use gravy lovers fancy feast.
