Here's my condo from yesterday. http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/...s-182-1-169-2-72-4-62-5-77-6-88-7-153.191741/

So last night when she first entered the lagoon I fed her a teaspoon of MC Fancy Feast w/Gravy. And she didn't plummet. I was up hourly checking her BG until she started to climb back into the blues...

Today, I'll try the same approach - frequent testing; MC or HC food based on the amount of the drop and try to hold her in the lagoon for as long as possible. Do you experts think this is a method that will help Luci become accustomed to begin in the lagoon?

Thanks for your help and support!

Yay, I am glad you stopped Luci from visiting the lime greens last night. Did you feed just that once at +2? If so, that's something to remember next time Luci does that kind of drop.

Feeding the curve can help the kitty stay longer in healing greens and blues. :D:cool:

I fed her every time I got BG. She wants to eat a snack - so each time was given a teaspoon of MC FF salmon w/gravy. It seemed to slow the drop and steadied her numbers - until of course she started to climb - put the MC in the fridge and opened a new can of LC FF pate - her numbers just climbed to where they are this morning - and now dropping fast again from 371 to 271 in an hour - fed her the remainder of the MC FF salmon w/gravy - about 2 teaspoons - will check her again in one hour.

    Green is great Luci!:D:D:D
Sue you're doing so awesome! Yup, you just have to experiment and see what food steering trials work for Luci. Great job!!:bighug::bighug::bighug:

It was a very nice run. It’s an experiment worth repeating.

In addition to the opportunity for Luci to become re-accustomed to BG in the normal range, being there allows the pancreas to rest. It’s the zone for healing.
