I'm really not sure what happened, Maverick usually nadirs around +5 to +6, but I've been seeing some weird preshots these last few weeks, so I've been trying to get some tests later in his cycles. When I saw +9=38, I assumed bad strip, or bad test, tested again and got 40 .

Can anyone see something I missed that would have anticipated the drop into lime greens?! I don't know, I'm stumped. Did I perhaps increase back up too soon assuming failed reduction? Also, I'm not supposed to feed after nadir so as not to cut the cycle short and have a higher next preshot, but this new pattern is disturbing. I normally don't feed in the latter part of the cycle, but if he is dropping like this more regularly I may need to change the feeding as well. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Woh, Maverick ... it’s one thing to change up your pattern, but no need to go shark hunting.
    Nice PMPS. Surf safely tonight!

Some people give a small +9 LC snack every day, just to keep some equilibrium. Worth a try, perhaps?

If you test after what you think is nadir and he's still dropping, then you haven't reached nadir yet and it's OK to feed. Today's +5.5 looked like it was a bounce breaking cycle. Those cycles often have later nadirs.

Congrats on the reduction. Looks like Mav needed a little kick in the furry pants with the increase, which he got. :D

Wow on the 38. I'm glad Mav came back up for you. I hope he surfs safely tonight.

I just wish I could see what he was bouncing from! That's the fine line for me, I'm trying to go easy on the testing, but then I miss things. I'll keep the bounce breaking cycles in mind in the future, I just assumed he'd surf after the +5.5.

Lol, he sure did need a little kick, he's been holding out on me...haven't seen those greens for a while :D, just wish he didn't have to be so overly dramatic about the need for a reducie ;)

I wondered about that cycle...he recovered pretty quickly after the higher +2, he must have had some greens in there then came up by +9.5.

    +2=187
    +4=229,
I guess hoping no bounce from a 38/40 was unrealistic, Mav does like his trampoline

I think this is your latest post - I hope so, Christie, and that I'm not stuffing something up! That 38 was something. Looks like Maverick is being a little steadier lately. I hope all is well!
