    Yesterday's

I think I made the right choices on dosing last night. I gave .5uR at the +8 mark to help keep Pig's numbers from climbing even higher and that stopped the climb and put him squarely at 300 at his pmps. Now, according to my R scale, he should have gotten a 1uR dose with his pm shot. However, considering that R does effect concurrent cycles, I felt I should air on the side of caution and give a dose off the old R scale. So, I only gave him .75uR. He was at a 272 on his +3 test, meaning there would be a further drop still in the cycle. Now, I know that 272 is still a very high number and hypo is not something I am worried about, but at this point I want to ease his system down and not incite anymore bounces. He is so temperamental to any sugar changes that it needs, in my eyes, to be a very gradual decline. Considering that his amps was @ 284, I feel like I made the right choice and we are back on even footing. I continued with the current R scale this morning, which meant a full 1uR dose. I am interested to see where he will go with this today.

@Wendy&Neko I am working on putting in a separate tab for R scales and recorded last nights dose for the mid-cycle. I hope I am doing this right. My feeble attempt to mimic @Stacy & Asia Levemir split in the SS did not turn out how I intended.. :p I am still figuring the whole google sheets thing out!

The use of 0.5U R last night was good - seemed to knock the feet off of the bounce. :) Paws crossed for more yellow today. If you don't see blue today, it's cycle 6 at this dose.

He was still a higher yellow when I left for work. I left out food for the +8 hour as usual. Its never much, but enough to keep the indigestion at bay. I will not be home until pmps. That is the only issue I have with doing his shots at the time I do. However, I do not think that he will touch blue just yet... I could be wrong. I do think we will see it with this next raise.

Unless you think I should hold off, I will continue with the L increase tonight. That is, unless he has an unusually low ps when I get home. I know we are not suppose to base it off ps... :p

Well, the bounce be back. :arghh::arghh::arghh:
No worries. I raised his L to 36uL so maybe he will get a gentle response and coast down softly. Why must he be sooooo temperamental??
