    Yesterday's

Well, so my work has been giving me some really odd hours, so I am super late posting today, but here nonetheless.

We made the L raise last night and saw a pretty solid drop on just the Levemir alone, so I am hopeful for this dose. I also have a weird feeling that his upper 200 #s are actually a mild bounce in response. I know this sounds odd since they are not up in the pinks, but he has been coasting yellow and I have seen some decent downward movement during cycles. Also, I gave the 1uR so it seems to me that he might have been headed into one and I was able to head it off with the am cycle dose, which kept him about the same all through the cycle instead of jumping up. I am not entirely sure.

I am looking forward to this pm cycle, though.. I am curious as to what it will bring. I find his R to nadir at about the +4. I a considering raising the R again soon if I do not see a decent drop. Maybe in a few cycles. I do not want to push overly hard, but it might be time to get a bit aggressive.. Lol

Pig sure has been flat lately, now if only the range would come down a bit.

Agreed... 100% It seems as if he responds at first, at least enough to trigger him jumping way up. However, then he just sort of levels out.. I certainly hope it does not take another 30u to change the range. I have about a month of insulin at this point, but that is worth roughly $400 and that is the Mark's price at that... We will never make SRT if I can't find a way to pull his numbers down some.

On that note, I was wondering about possibly looking into giving a steady dose of R at the +6 mark every pm cycle. The reason I ask this is because I will be at home during the nights and can monitor. Given that the R does effect the following cycles, maybe this is a good strategy to look at in order to help bring down those curves and hold him a bit lower...??? What do you think?

Also, you gave me that planner on traveling with diabetic cats, but what else do I need to do to plan this all out? I am trying to read about others journeys as well... I just am so worried that we are going to head out and I am going to miss something major and blow the whole thing.. I have one shot at this for Pig. It is so important that my human fallacies not mess it up!
