    Morning everyone!
So we somehow survived the trip, and we were only an hour late. The trip was much harder and stressful than I thought it would be. Lou made a total mess of the new carrier and himself, despite the pee pads. He also cried for over 3 hours, which was hard on the ears. Thankfully though, he loved walking on the harness and tolerated a quick wash. Caleb LOVED walking him around and he only got out of the harness and ran away once. :nailbiting: Scary, but he was easily caught after he ran around the back of the house. He's handling himself well now that he's here. He's coming out from under the bed and even sleeping with us. Total love bug and gaining confidence every minute.

He had a pretty active cycle last night, which made me laugh. What BCS dose?? His +3 this morning was 187 or something close, so perhaps we can rest a bit easy. I hope beyond hope that he continues to do well and that the trip back (now that he realizes that there's nothing to be afraid of).

I hope you all have a wonderful Caturday, and that your kitties surf safely!!

I'm glad you made it safely and Lou seems to be doing well now that he is there.

I'm glad the trip is over with - at least for Lou. I'm so sorry...I've had a crazy, make that insane week...between getting really sick post-shingles vaccine (the new more powerful one, oh great)...a minor surgical procedure for skin cancer (supposed to take it easy for a couple of days...yeah, right) and moving my mother from one facility to another... I've lost track of everything...did you move into your new house OR are you on vaca???

It's all good Sue, you've definitely had a lot on your plate. We're on vacation to Caleb's family farm. We took Lou with us and it is his first trip away from home that's not the vet. We will be heading back home tomorrow morning.

Looks like the BCS dose had the depot at play. We just can not trust these kitties. Enjoy you time away and hopefully Lou will behave himself.

Awww... how sweet... hope you’ve all had a nice break down on the farm.. no shark zone I hope..

I need to go to the farm, the funny farm.. been dealing with mom and ‘new place adjustment issues’ just about all day long...

I swear Luci sense my distress and avoids the lagoon... just to give her mama bean a break... could I possibly hope that she has compassion and knows when I’m near my breaking point????

Safe travels tomorrow! Hope Lou figured out that every car ride isn’t about the bad ole vet
