    Welllll Gordy earned a reduction in the middle of the night. More than a little distressing to wake up to a 24!!! I am glad I did a second test... whoch was also like green, but not as scary. I really intended on getting more tests in and power napping between, but it seems i messed that up. When I woke up at +10, I was pretty panicked.... but he was sitting cute and blue.

    So we reduced some for that and that I reduced even more to start tje vacation dose for this weekend. Its probably too much of a drop... but I'd rather him run a little higher with the sitter than makr her do what i have to do lol

    :eek::eek: at that 24!

    Is the sitter good at doing 0.25 increments?

    I agree with your decision to start the vacation dose at that 3.25u, though.

    Honestly, since she is only there for the weekend, I just prep the syringes. I know its not ideal, but its worked so far. I did teach her how to do the doses with the caliper, but it made her really anxious.

    But if necessary, i can walk her thru how doing it, she has a practice vial and all the video resources :cat:

    Not too shabby :cool: and it was a late shot too!

    Rex is still showing signs of not feeling well... its concerning. She is swallowing loudly and occasionally hacking. She is also superrr set on going outside, even pathetically crying.(I may take her out once the sun goes down... maybe eating the grass will placate her.) If she is still doing it when I get home Sunday, I'll have no choice but to bring her to the vet. Ugh. I may call the good place tomorrow and see if I can schedule one for Monday in advance.

    Raptor is... well... she is a kitten. She got kicked out of the bedroom multiple times last night.

    Have you thought about giving egg yolk lecithin (EYL)? I just added that in to see if it would help Keena with his hairballs that got a lot worse after the official bath giver passed away. In about a week and half, he had only one and it was every 3 days and he wasn't eating well. Now he's ready to eat every time. A bonus is it also helped Rex's BMs. :)

    I would love nothing more than to have a blue cat this weekend.

    I'll look into when i get back from Tampa. Rex doesn't really seem to ever hack up hairballs, but you never know. She is also over due for a lion cut.
