Pretty Girl looks and acts like she went low and then much higher. Returning Pretty Girl to her current dose certainly seems to have had the opposite effect. Also Pretty Girl vomited about an hour after last night’s shot. It was really vomiting not just spit up. This is so unlike her. It is worrisome. She seldom throws up. She and SweetPea are eating the same flavor canned food from last night. Pretty Girl’s appetite is quite good this morning.
Pretty Girl, you really need to come down out of those ugly red and blacks. Those colours just don't suit you. I am glad her appy is good. Does she seem nauseous at all?
Thank you. Mostly no. As long as I’m offering something she wants to eat. About an hour after the shot she wants to eat and then sometimes acts maybe a bit nauseous. But she ate more last night and this morning than she has in several days.
Can’t seem to edit thread title on my phone. PMPS 272 but wow she doesn’t act very good. I forgot about picking up the food at +10. I think Pretty Girl and SweetPea must have eaten a few leftovers. Neither are very interested in food. Not even turkey. I’m about to lose my mind.
She ate a tiny bit more. I gave 1.5. I don’t have any idea if that was the right thing to do. I think I’m losing it.
Fortunately the weekend is here. I hope you'll be able to gather some more data and see what Pretty Girl is really doing on this dose. You did right by giving her the full dose tonight. She is well over 200 and you've shot full dose on a 234 before. Will you be able to get a before bed test tonight? I hate it when they are being picky!
Thank you. A curve? I can do one on Sunday - have to work most of Saturday. I’m thinking about doing an 18 hour curve at 3 hour intervals and on Monday - I expect to be home - a 12 hour curve at 2 hour intervals. But Pretty Girl and I need to catch a break after that. We are both burned out on the increased testing and she has always been patient and cooperative with testing but now fights me and cries. I’m beginning to wonder if SweetPea is also diabetic. Just shoot me now.
