I'm glad Gordy is eating and he stayed safe for you last night. I hope he recovers quickly from the dental. Sending prayers.

I've attached the write up from the vet, including the labs. I was trying to input the labs last night... but I was having trouble matching everything.

Good thing is... they gave me some of the numbers from his June tests that he had when he had pancreatitis.

He showed interested in dinner but turned away. Hopefully I wont have to struggle too hard to encourage him to eat tonight.

He still isn't eating, but so far we're getting away with it. I think he is a little nauseous. Hopefully he comes around.

If not... I'm at the vet in the AM anyway. Maybe she can get me home with a Cerenia shot. (I don't think I want to pill him with stitches in his mouth.)

Well, he could be uncomfortable from the extraction site. Can you give him some baby food. It is super thin and easier for them to lap up when they aren't feeling well.

I don't have any on hand now :( but I'll pick some up tomorrow to have in case.

I did manage to get him to eat a spoonful of some BFF food... its like tuna and shrimp in gravy... probably super high in carbs... oh well.

ETA: If its the same one on the cat food chart, then its only 2%... which I find hard to believe because its drenched in gravy? Hmmm.

Looks like the triple combo, skipped/delayed shot, reduced dose, and bounce from last night's unfamiliar greens. Come on down Gordy! And keep eating. Most of the Weruva don'r use wheat in their gravy, that's where the carbs come from in many other brands.

He'll probably need to go back to his old dose soon.

I agree, but with his history of dropping too quick with no food, i don't want to rush it until he has a normal appetite. (Or close to one)

Ooooh!!! I'll have to grab a little more of those then. I don't normally give them fish, but desperate times

Ok, i don't think he is gonna race down, thankfully. Ive set him up, alone, in the spare room. He has a little box, water and FIVE types of food at his disposal. Its also his fave room because he can go under the bed. Im gonna get up and check on him in a few hours. Fingers crossed that I will see evidence of some food being consumed.
