I let Felix earn a reduction today, since I have to take my parents to a few doctors appointments early next week. Hope it'll hold. He had a little low-carb at +5 and seemed pleasantly surprised to get some with yummy potato flakes mixed in at +5.5.

We received our FDMB calendars yesterday. It's bittersweet to look through--but mostly sweet.

 

I don't know if you know, but you have the wrong date up on your condo Do you use the potato flakes to add more carbs? How much do you use? sounds interesting

Yes, Felix will only eat one kind of wet food, so I can't use medium carb or high carb to bump him up. I've experimented with 1/4 to 3/4 teaspoons of potato flakes (mixed with about a tablespoon of food and about a tablespoon of water). Today he had a 1/2 teaspoon potato flakes, which tends to work pretty well. If he's lower, it seems to be better if I add a few drops of honey rather than adding more potato flakes. The potato flakes stay in his system longer than when I was using only honey or Karo, so when I get the amount right, he surfs.
