Scooter has had a rough night and day. I got home from work yesterday and tested him for PMPS and got a 171, retested and got 154. I was surprised, but he had eaten all his snacks from his feeder and seemed to feel fine. He ate his shot time snack and then wanted in my lap and was super purry and cuddly. I couldn’t think of any contraband he could have gotten. By +2 he seemed a little droopy. He didn’t want his snack and his BG was up to 196. I gave him a different food and he ate. At +4 he was up to 219, didn’t seem to feel good, but did eat his snack. His vet had given me a bottle of a Clavamox for “just in case”. I decided to start him on it. He ate most of his snacks through the night, but puked about +10. He ate his breakfast. I waited about 20 minutes and gave him the AB and he puked about 30 min after that. I couldn’t get him to eat anything else and left him a buffet since I had to go to work. I called his vet as soon as they opened. He said I didn’t need to bring him in, to give him 24 hrs. and see how he was. When I got home at lunch he hadn’t eaten anything. I got out another different food and got him to eat a couple tsps. I left him a buffet with more foods and had to go back to work. When I got home this evening he had eaten a few bites, but he went to a bowl and ate a pretty good bit. He has eaten his +2 snack and been in my lap with a little purring! He seems to be feeling a lot better! I’m really glad the vet had given me the AB. I think getting him started on it quickly helped. I don’t know what was/is wrong. Maybe a little bug??? I spent most of my day worrying about him..

That is the worst feeling. I know! Hoping his improvement has continued.

Could have been a bug or some food that was a little "off".

Glad to hear Scooter is feeling better. Our cats always threw up when they got Clavamox! :cat:
