We're doing good. I think Furball dipped down yesterday, but I wasn't home to see it.

This has been one of Yoyo's best days! He stayed in low numbers the longest time span that I have seen for him. Now lets see what he does with his +2. He may go up and do his 100 point thing or he may behave and give us low numbers. Either way, I still love him:kiss:...he's trying and that's what counts!

Wish I had a specialist around here who monitored anesthesia. I'm lucky to have a cardiologist in this area which is an hour travel time. My area is very populated but when it comes to Vets and Specialist in Florida it can be limited. I wanted to move more north in Florida so I checked the availability of cardiologist in northern Florida and none exist. Well, I found one in Ocala, but that still would have been around 4 hours from where I was looking to move. I don't worry about my doctors, but I worry about my pets' doctors....go figure:rolleyes:

Today, especially looking at the human meter readings, he’s right where we want him. Let’s hope the bouncing minimizes.

I don’t know what I’d do if our anesthesiologist moved. We’ve used her for all our cats for the past ten years. We have a lot of specialists here but not a cardiologist anymore. That requires a two hour one way trip to Phx. I’m hoping after Liv’s echo in two weeks, we won’t need to go see him but we will if we have to.

Have a great evening. No bouncing, YoYo!

Yo heard you, no bouncing, +2 is good, 85(human meter) and 129(Alphatrak2).

I have a question as I am always thinking ahead....what number is considered too low to shoot in the morning using the HUMAN METER? (I don't know how brave I will be when I see a low number)! I think the lowest number that I have shot was 113 on the human meter. I know that I am supposed to know my cat, but sometimes he does not follow "the rules";) of his SS and instead of going up @+1 and +2, he has dropped and that is what SCARES me the most!!

During the night I have been giving Yo boiled chicken. I am very surprised that he eats it, but he is and I believe chicken has no carbs so it shouldn't raise his BG....right? Please let me know if I am doing right by giving him chicken during the night. He cries almost every night on schedule at around 1:30. I don't need an alarm, he wakes me up!!
Tomorrow I am taking him to the vet to have his thyroid level rechecked so his BG will go up a lot, probably in the 300's. When he gets home it will drop, so I'll monitor him closely, (like I don't already....I make myself laugh).
    Have a good night-I won't bother you anymore:bighug:
