Normal, totally fine? Or should I start pushing food on him? He’s sleepy, but otherwise seems fine.

Is it ok to wait an hour to test again? He doesn’t have a history of sharp drops.

He's been coming down all day, since you follow SLGS, that 75 earns a reduction to 3 u tomorrow. I'd suggest to give some LC food now and test again at +4.

Sounds good. He’s had access to food all evening since 5:30 or so. I’ll try to encourage him to eat.

Did he eat his dinner okay? The insulin onset has started so it would be good to get him some carbs now if he didn't have much for dinner.

He’s been eating on and off. He has eaten about a can this evening. He eats less when his blood sugar is not through the roof, so I assumed that is what was happening today. He can eat 3 5.5 oz cans when he wants to.

He’s a champion eater and just ate a 1/4 can I just topped with freeze-dried chicken.

Excelllent, then just keep an eye for that +4, hoping he stays flat or rises a bit. I need to sign off, but please do post your +4 and hopefully others will pop by if you need help.

ETA : oh and please add your PMPS to your title, and your +4 when you have it, people can then quickly see.

I am itching to test, but I don’t want to overdo it. I will definitely post. I’m rereading the hypo sticky!

Thanks so much for your assistance!

LOL that does tend to happen when you start seeing numbers you aren't used to...if you are worried and he is ok with testing, you can certainly see where he is at. He is still safe, but it is early on in the cycle.

Nice! Flat is good!:D He's getting a little surf going. This would be around +3.5ish?

How do you feel about getting a test in 1 hour? Just to make sure he's still staying flat and not dropping?

    Yes, 3.5
I am definitely testing in an hour.

I don’t work tomorrow, so this is a good day to have this situation. I can’t believe he’s regulated so quickly! He was untreated for I don’t know how long, until he could barely walk. He’s just been getting so much better in the 3 months I’ve had him.

The RELION got at error message as it so often does. I didn’t bother to poke and test with a new strip.
    Yikes we’re going back down.
I’m going to get some food into him.

Edit to add: He ate some. Looks happy!

I'm a big newbie... but to get more experienced eyes don't be afraid to use 911 prefix!
Hope Jackson rises gently. 110 is still safe on the AT.

Yeah, I had a question there earlier, and I took it off, because it’s not a big emergency. I’m just going to keep updating until he’s rising a bit.

This is Jackson’s lowest blood sugar to date, so I’m worried he could go lower and hit hypoglycemia.

I’m going to encourage him to eat again and may go to bed soon.

Got another RELION number. 75! I tested myself, and I’m 102. Going to have to google whether that’s good or not.

Going to bed. I look forward to finding out if he’s still 75 in the morning!
