Ok, she had 3 reductions in 10 days, then has been on current dose for a little over a week getting some decent nadirs, debating whether to reduce again here because had I still been using AT, she would still be above 90 this cycle and I would have held this dose, makes it tough using human meter now. I’ll see how she’s looking in the morning. I would only be going down a hair next reduction as her last reduction I did not take full .25 because I was afraid she’d end up failing the full reduction.

I also noticed a couple of days ago a syringe that was off by a good .25, so now I am watching for those and setting aside the ones that are badly marked. Will have to get calipers to avoid guessing with those what dose I’m actually using. I already throw out 10-15% of every box due to the needles being crooked, can’t afford to throw out the ones with bad markings or I’ll scarcely have any left! Makes me mad the quality control on syringes is so poor.

    Honey is doing very well.
I think I would use calipers too with so many off needles. That’s pretty disgraceful really when you think about it.

Nice surfing for Honey. It's awful how off syringes can be.

I had issues with poorly marked BD syringes when I first started. Now I use the sticky edge of a post it note to mark each dose when I increase, and basically ignore the printed markings...

That sticky is genius Liz! I am looking to buy calipers and marking on a sticky would be easier than holding the calipers next to the syringe. Can still get the measurement with calipers and mark on sticky. This is very smart.

Maybe don’t even need calipers, although they still would help with in between doses.
