    Yes they are!!!
Scooter is doing fantastic on his new low dose.
Question for you....do you feed certain carb %'s throughout the day to keep him so level? Or- is he just used to those beautiful green numbers that his body just does it?

I have always fed him small snacks through the first half of the cycle. The % carb depends on what he’s liking at the moment, but always 0-4%. On workdays if he’s in the low 50’s when I get home to check him I give him a bit of 14% gravy and some in an extra snack at +7 or 8 if I’m worried. These MC snacks may not be necessary, but they make me feel better. :) The snacks seemed to keep him fairly steady before he was regulated and I didn’t change anything when he got into good numbers. I do think it helps, a few times when he didn’t eat his snacks while I was at work, his numbers were lower than I expected.

With Yoyo I never know what to expect when he starts to drop into the green numbers.
Example....today I fed him all LC food and his numbers stayed safe.

He always gets....1 can between PS and +1. Then I feed him 3 teaspoons at +2,+3 and +4.

On other days with these similar numbers I have fed him MC food and sometimes he drops way low despite the MC food. And then some days he has spiked up high....it's as if he starts to bounce during a cycle.

With me and Yoyo it is like guess work as to what I should feed him. I keep testing just incase his numbers get LOW.
Maybe one day he will get regulated...I can only wish!!!

Hope your husband's Dr visit went well.
Thank you for telling me about Scooter's feeding schedule:)

I guess I’m just lucky with Scooter. He’s always been pretty predictable. No huge drops and even his bounces were fairly predictable. Yoyo is doing great and think he’s headed towards regulation. Once he’s regulated I think he’ll be more predictable.

Wellllll.....I’m not liking those yellows but after today’s cycle, I know it’s not the best idea to suggest to you to increase the dose.

While I’m gone, if you start seeing more yellow, you might want to tag Wendy (Neko) or Sienne (Gabby) to help you figure out whether to increase. I’ll send them both a message.

I’ll try to check in one more time ....maybe Saturday. No promises but I’ll try. It’s getting to the wire and we still have a long list of things to do including making two more batches of cat food!

(Just so you know.....Somehow I messed up the SS numbers and wrote the wrong BG#'s on the human meter SS that belong to the Alphatrack SS...that may one of the yellow numbers that you saw earlier).
