As stated in title, AMPS was 193, I stalled and retested 20 min later and got 296. Retested immediately, got 286. Not really a big deal but was wondering if it's normal for BG to increase by a third in just 20 minutes as I haven't seen a large increase that quickly before.

Did you feed the 193? It could have been a wonky strip or Panic could have been on his way up or any combination of the three.

Sometimes if kitty is really hungry their angst for food will push numbers up too.

Nope I made her wait to eat. This is a different bottle now but last week I tested her at a PMPS and it read 42, retest was in 400s. I guess I just want to make sure my meter isn't going bad!

Lol she was really cross that I fed everyone else and skipped her xD

I'll bet you got quite the glare! If looks could kill eh?

You might want to put a new battery in your meter. I wasn't using the Relion but mine gave me some wonky readings before the low battery notification came on.

Oh you're probably right, I haven't changed the battery since I bought it. Swapped it out this morning, thanks!
