CC's numbers are off the charts. 565 this morning. She finally had a decent day of numbers yesterday during the day..... And was finally acting more herself being playful and even using the stairs to hang out in the basement. If this is a bounce is rediculous. Wondering if she's in the home stretch.
    :(
    My poor baby.

Oh no! I hope she's doing a little better as the day goes on. I know you know all this stuff but... any chance your insulin is going bad? Maybe you could try a different injection site?
    How's her appetite lately?
Big hugs to you and of course CC. Please keep us posted.

Hi @JanetNJ! How weird that we are both in the same place; you helped me get yoshi into remission years ago. I still can’t thank you enough. Sad to see us both here, but know that we are sending lots of good vines to CC

I hope this is not the home stretch for C.C.. You have done such a stellar job juggling work, diabetic care, and also your son's care. No big advice here. You have done a great job turning lemons into lemonade for your family.

Big FDMB hugs to you and Phil and C.C.:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Good to see she came down a bit today. That was a pretty dramatic bounce CC! I found it took as little as 5 days without greens for Neko to develop some glucose toxicity. On the good side of things, she feels better in good numbers and not the icky ones. Plus you are using the AT, which makes it look higher.

Any chance of starting a 2020 tab for the spreadsheet? As one who opens up the SS first thing I do, it's easier the less I have to scroll down.

I thought about that so I tried some of the last vial I had but it was the same. I go through a vial every three weeks.

Oh yes I will. I'll make a new tab soon. It's easier to do on a laptop and my laptop died so I'll have to do it at work.

Her eating had not been.... Enthusiastic.... Lately and required a lot of encouragement from me. I think she was getting sick of the same thing over and over. I ordered a few new things from chewy that I got today. (Low carb low phosphorus)...

So far she likes the weruva pate slide and serve Family Food flavor (.97 phosphorus and 0 carb) and loved the weruva Steak Frites (.57 phosphorus and 7.5 carb according to Tanya's site). So happy to see her happy.

So phosphorus question. Tanya's chart goes by percent like 0.8 or 1.06 Lisa by number like 180, ect. How do you go back and forth? Like 0.97 might = 190?

I hope CC is doing better. One thing I found helped Colin’s appetite was a sprinkle of Forti Flora on top of whatever I was feeding. As far as phosphorus, I think(hard to remember) I tried to keep under 1 on Tanyas chart, and under 200 on Dr Lisa’s, but I don’t know the calculations to compare them. I also ended up adding a phosphorus binder when his numbers got too high.

Tanya's chart is dry matter basis, Dr. Lisa's document is As Fed phosphorus/100 calories. Part way down this post, Marje describes how to convert one to the other. But I just did the rule Sharon listed.

So CC'S numbers have been better the last few days. She hasn't been eating like she should and was having difficulty walking. Monday I tried some new foods! She's eating great now, and walking better and is more herself!

Whose cleaning her plate? CC IS! Her eating had been getting less and less. She was loosing weight and back legs were paper thin. She was only eating half the calories she should have been too maintain her weight, now she's eating so much more!! After Almost a week her fur feels softer and she's walking around better. She's due for a check up next week to see how the thyroid meds are helping.

This is what she's eating now

Weruva slide and serve pate foods Family Food (.97 phosphorus and 0 carb). Also Jeopurrdy Chicken (0.97 P 6.1 carb)

Weruva Steak Frites (0.57 phosphorus 7.5 carb although I take out any big pieces of potatoes to try to limit the carbs just a bit)

And weruva Fowl Ball chicken and turkey (0.89 phosphorus 0 carb).

That is good news Janet. I'm glad she is taking to the new food. As long as she is maintaining healthy weight, that is a great sign. When Leo was having issues with eating, I was weighing him every day to monitor the issue.

She got a couple cans of gravy food last night though after dipping WAY too low. She was quite happy about that. Lol

She's got a huge belly from the acro so it's never obvious when her weight is down. But her legs have clearly lost muscle weight. TWICE in the last few days she tackled the basement stairs on her own so she must be feeling better. That used to be her go to hang out spot. Maybe I'll put her down there a few times just so she gets some exercise. Is that mean? Lol

Look at those perfect numbers today! Looks like this new food is doing her good! Maybe the lower phosphorus and full belly is making her feel better!

Those are really good numbers from the last 3 cycles. Maybe you are right and C.C. is feeling healthier without the higher phosphorus.

I thought she was going to be really high this morning after her hypo last night, but her numbers were great! Not sure what to give her tonight. She's only 160. Looks like I'm stalling a bit.

I used to stall Leo up to one hour. At least C.C. is on Prozinc, so there isn't a viable depot. At least C.C. is finally getting some low numbers again. So that is good.

Numbers off the moon. She was 76 at normal shoot time. Fed her, and an hour later she’s still 82! What???? Lolol.

Good news! Vet just texted me that CC'S T4 retest says she's regulated! We don't have to go back for 3 months.

She also said he kidney values are better.

Great news on the regulation and also the T4 test. It sounds like C.C. is back on a good track for now. Very glad to hear it.
