Good morning all! After a beautiful day of sunny yellows, Moe is starting this morning at 361. Fingers crossed once again that we dip back into better lnumbers today.

He’s not eating as enthusiastically as usual, and I wonder if he’s getting bored with the Fancy Feast flavors. I guess I’ll start putting Friskies back into his rotation. ... Yep, he just turned his nose up at the FF chicken but is happily eating the Friskies mixed grill. Cats...

I understand completely. I have to change Teal'c's food choice all the time or he will snub it. Your right Cats lol Hope Moe dips down a bit. Love the way they keep us guessing.

 

Back to the usual pattern. 355 at +3.

 

My civvie will only eat Friskies pate. And only 3 flavors. What a pain.
But my sugar dude will eat anything. I once caught him with his head in my bag of salt & vinegar chips munching away.

 

Dang it, he’s bouncing from those nice yellows yesterday. 440 at +6.

 

Aaargh. I’m trying to refill Moe’s prescription and I had been getting the basaglar at a grocery pharmacy. They were opening the box and selling me one pen. Now they refuse and I have to buy 5 pens.
I’m running low so I may have to suck it up and try to find other options later.

 

Sorry about the pharmacy not working with you. Have you tried calling other pharmacies to see if they will sell you a single pen? I hope Moe stops being picky about his food.

 

Yeah, I had a little moment of panic there, then got on the phone. Found a couple of pharmacies that will break open the box, and for a couple dollars less than where I was going. But now...Walmart near my house has ZERO strips for the Relion meter. What the heck???

Moe ate some FF beef a little while ago. I think he just wants me to switch things up.

 

PMPS is 362. Got distracted and was 30 minutes late with Moe’s shot. He’s currently chowing down on some FF beef. Apparently he’s not a fan of the chicken or turkey and giblets. At the moment, anyway. He liked all of the flavors last week.

 

I would normally get a single solostar pen from wally world.
I went there last week to get my last refill.
All of a sudden, they told me they won't sell me a single pen anymore. They told me I have to purchase the entire 5 pack of pens.
But, I only had the 1 single pen left in my script.
So I would have to get an entire new script.
Besides the fact of the cost of the 5 pack. YIKES !!
Needless to say, I found another pharmacy to get that last pen.

 

Exactly the same with me! I’ve been getting mine from HEB. Been trying to renew the script all week with screwups by both the pharmacy and my vet. Finally thought i had it sorted when the vet tech called and said $400 for five pens!!!

 

I am getting a new script from the vet tomorrow.
Am NOT getting filled at wally world.
To make matters worse, the pharmacist asked what was my cat's birthday. Then got annoyed because I didn't know. He was a baby feral.
And then asked if this was really my cat. No, I get insulin for random cats, lol.
By that time, I was ready to jump the counter and strangle her.

 

They asked me at HEB last time. I couldn’t remember the exact date. I made sure to ask the vet today what date they used when they called in the Rx.

 

Well, Moe decided to be a good boy and give me a yellow before bed. 283 at +5.
