Monkey got HI at AMPS:(. Injected 2.0 U. His + 4 is 500+. It is the highest day. I was thinking if it is because I fail to suck insulin in the syringe. (I think it is very unlikely I make such big mistake, my family member inject it and she reports that she is very sure it was successfully injected) I think now I need to do all the steps my own to ensure things are done right.

Everything looks fine for Monkey. He is taking methyl B12 regularly.

See the today's photo of Uropaper (is that same as Ketostix?) which tests protein and pH of urine. For protein (The bottom row, I see that it should be minimal) For pH, I think it is closer to ph 5. I googled that "Although the range varies under certain circumstances, the expert consensus seems to be that from around 6.2 to 6.4 is a healthy range" What do you think?

My grinder arrived. Now I will start learning how to make raw cat food entirely following to Dr.Lisa recipe. However, with Monkey having such a high BG, should I try new food for him?

Today Monkey is meowing me for unknown reason. At first I thought he may want me to take him to pee or give him moving water, but it was not. Perhaps he just wanted my attention. He seems to be more attached to me these days that he likes to position himself near my body. (but not stick to me)

The ph of the cat urine should be 6 to 6.5
That looks about 6 to me.
And no protein, that is good.
That test does not include the ketone test. You need Ketostix for that.

About the food.....that is a very large amount of salt you have there. Only a very tiny amount is needed. Is it salt or Seaweed?
As you going to feed all the cats the new food. I would do the swap over gradually over the period of a week or more, depending on how they go, see if they get any diarrhoea or vomiting or refuse to eat.

Did you test Monkey at all last night.?
He could have dropped lower and that is why he is high now.

Monkey last night +3 was 389. In photo it looks ph 6, but visually it surely look like 5. Yes very tiny salt is needed. It is seaweed iodine reduced sodium sea salt. I buy this because I cannot find anything similar to morton iodine salt (Sodium: Potassium about 1:1) as recommended by Dr Lisa. This salt is Sodium : Potassium = 1.93: 1 . This is the closest I can find. She said it is ok to use table salt with no potassium because raw meat itself have enough potassium.

Yes I will definite swap gradually. Like first day is 5% raw meat, and add 5% each day to see if they can adapt to it.

Update: Monkey's BG is all black, I hope it is just because of furshot:( Is there any danger?

    Images not showing above.
Im not sure why he’s in those black numbers. It could well be that he dropped lower last night and he is bouncing.
You saw that he drop to 34 on 18th when you increased to 2 unit. So you really need to be testing frequently when you increase. I doubt he’d go up into black numbers like that with a fur shot.

From your signature, it looks like you're following TR. Remember that unless Monkey is seeing nadirs that are under 200, you want to evaluate the dose every 6 cycles. In other words, you could have raised the dose on 5/21.
