So you can call me Candy, I'm single - not married, not dating at all, no children, no family, etc. I have 2 cats - Fena (got her in 2009 from a HS friend of mine who dropped back into town and said "she" was a "she" and "she" was "spayed" in Sept 2009 - I got her and her 2 brothers in Nov. 2009. I've been in their face, all over them like white on rice, face to face, poking, prodding, examining, etc. I've known them since maybe May/June 2009-ish? Lucky the youngest died of cancer on March 31st, 2016. Fena and Mao (13-ish?) have been in the best health until recently.

Fena is my sugarcat, as of August 25th, 2018
(444 BG but no ketones as of 8/26) - she's roughly guestimated at 14 yrs. old but might be younger or older. My friend said he found her outside the back door of a restaurant he worked in Seattle and the "vet" that "spayed" Fena guessed the age at 5 at the time in 2009, but might be younger or older. Turns out as of August 25th, 2018 Fena is a MALE - go figure. But you'll always read of me saying "she", "her", "babys girl", etc. because that's what we both know.

Turns out her neutered sack when healed actually DOES look like a "vulva" and contracts, etc. like one too and pressing into her abdomen, all over, etc. didn't discover it despite my hands on/in your face approach. My current vet blamed it on her being a bit "chunky", and "malformed" because her mammorary glands looked like that of a female cat who had had at LEAST 2 litters, and her personality screams "female"- she's the most loving, protective, nurturing animal I've EVER had, which is saying something since I've been around male animals off and on all my life.

Needless to say I was shocked stupid just about 6 months after my Mom's death so I was reeling. Fena, Mao and Lucky were NOT related, their stories will come out in time I'm sure.

I'm looking and/or hoping for help, advice, encouragement, a sympathetic ear and just the connection of a fellow cat/FD/mom who is scared, overwhelmed, confused, but still fighting for her babies. <3
