Hi Everyone,
So much for planning to get to the board early today!! I got caught up in the Tour de France, then we had shopping, etc. to do, then I had to help Edward with a computer problem, then we went for a walk, then we had dinner, and here we are. Rusty had the best day: he only had to sleep (it is so hot here--80 degrees, which is hot for the Adirondacks--and poor Rusty in his thick coat is not used to the heat). I hope today signaled the end of the trip bounce. But we'll see. We are always prepared for anything!

Not much is new since we've been home. This evening we put our light solo canoes up on the car in preparation for paddling the "Route of the 7 Carries" tomorrow. A group of lakes and ponds in the St. Regis Canoe Area connected with portages (carries) of various lengths, the longest being 1/2 mile. It's a wonderful trip in a Wilderness area (no motorized anything). We have to get an early start because thunderstorms are forecast for tomorrow afternoon. Rusty will hold the fort.

bbl. We are watching "Poldark" on Masterpiece Theatre and it is about to begin.

Wow, busy day there! Elsa is sending lots of iced drinks, she too thinks 80 is hot.

It has been a nice day for Rusty though, steady solid blue. Back to the lagoon soon Rusty?

Enjoy your evening, and the movie! Relaxation time before your paddle tomorrow. I remember you writing about that one in the past.
 
Ella, you guys have the best days! I feel almost on vacation reading about your adventures. Thanks for that.

Rusty, a bit flat today. Maybe a visit to the lagoon tonight? At least get a little closer so you can make sure your deputies are doing their jobs!
 
Ella, paddling in a wilderness zone, no motorized vehicles allowed = paradise. Enjoy.

Rusty --- where is you? I is at da lagoon after long time away, but I don't see you. Is you comin in soon?

I'm a great fan of Poldark, the new series has just finished on BBC and waiting avidly for the next, he is certainly very easy on the eye!
 
Rusty sure is being a good kitty .....as much as we miss him at the lagoon, as busy as you are, at least he's nice and safe!!

Come on Rusty...come dip your toes in...the water is great!!
