Okay, the past two days I have spent countless hours online researching cat foods, and I'm at the end of my rope! :banghead::banghead::banghead: I need a food that is low-carb, low-phosphorus, has no carageenan, and is affordable. Oh, yes, and that my cats will actually eat without having it spoon-fed to them! o_O Does anybody have any thoughts on what this miracle food might be and where I can find it?!?

I am out of cat food and must buy more today. Seriously, does anyone have any input? Thanks.

I'm in the same boat as you! I just started giving Colin Natures Variety Instinct Duck. It is 1 carb & 191 Phos(I think). I'd like to find something lower Phos though and cheaper!

Are you meaning dry or canned?

Here is a food list you will find all the info you need here except whether or not you fur kids will eat it . Phosphorus under 1% is what we look for with kidney disease. Are you just trying to lessen the chance of kidney damage or is the blood serum phosphorus too high?

Sonny finally enjoys the EVO canned food...i know they have low PHO #s and definately low carb. I put some boiled chicken mixed in with it because he likes some chunks. Not too $$ but more than Friskies...a case of 24 5.5 oz cans goes for like $34 on Chewy.com

Goof stopped eating the Evo canned, of course not until I JUST BOUGHT a case! :banghead:Little stinker. He loves the Frsiskies Turkey and Giblets now. Go figure. I'm glad it's cheaper, but man that ingredient list scares me a bit. But I have 6 cats, so I simply can't afford Wellness or the other premium food and it's just too complicated to feed him something different, especially when I'm gone and have kitty sitter. :(
