An Update from Us!

Good afternoon!!

It's been awhile, I know! Our one year since Cobb passed came and went last week. We are still (and will be for some time) cat-less. We have our hands full enough with these two crazy kids!!

Since it's been awhile I figured I would give everyone an update. We are FINALLY moving! We sold our house at the beginning of January and decided to build a new one. So we'll be in an apartment for about 4.5 months. Not too long. The craziness right now is trying to find a place big enough for the 4 of us. Luckily, Miss Stephanie doesn't take up too much space!

Matty is an awesome big brother! Did we have any doubt? He LOVES Miss Stephanie more than I could have ever imagined. I just hope that their relationship is always so close. He just figured out how to ride the tricycle we got him for Christmas. And loves anything and everything to do with trains and airplanes!

Miss Stephanie is doing amazing. After our initial scare back in October, she has been awesome. She is sleeping. Woohoo! Otherwise, I'd be tagging along with in some PJ parties with you! But she is doing great. She's rolling over both ways, and scooting on her tummy. She'll be crawling any day now. She is so smiley too!

So, we are all doing well. I do check in from time to time, even if I don't post. You're all doing an amazing job at this difficult dance! Hope you are all well! (I've attached a few pictures for you!)

 

Hi Suzanne! Thank you SO much for the update and pics of your lovely family. Stephanie is a real beauty. Matty looks like he's a fun boy to have around. Best of luck with the new house and the two moves. How brave of you!

Hard to believe it's been a year since Cobb went to the Rainbow Bridge. I'm sure he still pauses from his playing occasionally and smiles down on you all.

 

Nice pictures of the family. The kids are really growing. I agree with Wendy you are brave to make two moves.

You have such a beautiful family!! Matty sure looks like he's full of piss and vinegar (as my mom would say!)

Good luck with the moves! I hope you're planning on keeping a lot of stuff in boxes for the time you're in the apartment....I hate to think about packing it up, unpacking it all, packing it up again and unpacking it a second time! You're a braver woman than I am!

 

Lovely to hear from you Suzanne with an update on all your news - my, you are going to be busy for the next few months. Wishing you the very best with the move(s), hope it goes smoothly.

You have a beautiful family, Stephanie is gorgeous and hasn't she grown. It's heartwarming to see how much her big brother loves her - might be a different story when they are teens but for the moment its great.

I can't believe Cobb has been gone for over a year now. I'm sure he is happy watching over you and I hope you will get a furry baby for you all to love once you are settled in your new house. A home isn't complete with a cat (or two, or three .....)

Thanks for checking in on Crystal, she's doing okay for an acrocat.

How nice to see an update from you. The kids are adorable - both will be heartbreakers when they're older. I echo what everyone else has said about your bravery in taking on not one but two moves! Good luck, and I hope you new home is everything you hope for, once you finally move into it!

 

Thanks so much for checking in and updating us. Those sad anniversaries are hard and here, everyone understands. A kitty is going to need to be a buddy for those cute kids one of these days.

neither of my kids want to have children. I only had them so I could have grandchildren.
