    yesterday

Crystal got wind of the vetty visit this morning as she saw the "evil monster" (carrier) sitting waiting and decided to hide behind the log burner, making it really difficult for me to get her out. After much hissing and spitting we managed it, but not a good start to the visit. Having said that, she was a really good girl at the surgery. Vet sprayed her paw with local anaesethic and then put surgical thread around the tumour a couple of times and then tightly knotted it, the idea being that the blood supply will be stopped and the tumour will dry up and drop off - well at least that's the plan. Vet said it would take about 2 weeks so paws crossed it's successful. She cried all the way home in the car so I had to give her a little dish of prawns to help calm her down on our return, clever girl.

Numbers a bit higher today but hoping for a better PM cycle.

Vines and wishes to those in need.

Poor Crystal. I hate it when they get so upset about going to the vet. I hope the procedure is successful. Sending prayers.

Don't be fooled by the "poor girl" - she's playing you!!! It's all about the prawns! :)

Glad it went as well as it did - hope she'll be feeling better with it sooner than 2 weeks!

I was wondering why the higher numbers, then I remember today was vetty visit day. Paws crossed the string tieing does the job. Do you have a bandage on it or is it free?

I agree, she's playing you for the prawns - you must keep a large supply in the freezer. :)

I hope the string procedure works well and that Crystal will get rid of the tumor very soon. She was a brave girl at the vettybean's.
    Enjoy those prawns, Crystal!

    Hugs and scritches,

Hope the string works to strangle off the tumor. I'm surprised she doesn't try to get the string off.

    108 @ AMPS, gave her 10uR.

No bandage on it, just keeping it clean with antiseptic spray. I think the thread is impossible for Crystal to reach without hurting herself, so I hope she will leave it alone.

Thanks for visiting everyone and for your vines for Crystal.
