How do you feel about monitoring tonight?

Can you stall 15 minutes, DON'T FEED, and re-test?

If you've already fed, just make sure to get a +1 and +2.....that will let you intervene early if necessary

Good for you shooting though! Hopefully she'll do great on this dose! (and anything less than 8 units is an improvement!)

We generally say to shoot anything over 150 and then as you gather more data, you'll learn to shoot lower and lower numbers. Those of us with enough data will shoot anything above 50 (but that takes time to learn how each cat responds)

In the future though, if you have a Pre-shot test you're not sure about shooting, you should stall, don't feed and post for help....then retest in 20-30 minutes to see if the numbers are coming up on their own. That's a good way to know that the last shot is starting to wear off and it's usually safe to shoot.

I agree with Chris, I would shoot ( I don't think you did yet?). I can't stay around all night but I'm sure others will keep an eye on you.

I'm not pushing you to do anything you're uncomfortable with, but my thoughts:

If you're able to monitor and have plenty of test strips, karo/gravy foods and coffee;) She'll be just fine. She did come up easily when you shot 2 units, and you're shooting 50% less now :)
