I am about to carry out Bailey's 2nd BG curve test tomorrow. I am a little concerned that overnight Bailey is drinking 140-150 ml between say 21:30hrs and 08:00hrs. He is fed 4 times a day, mostly wet food now but in order to give insulin shot I have to give some Thrive biscuits if he has only eaten a very small amount of wet.

    Should I be concerned?

    Thanks all.

At the height of his uncontrolled diabetes my cat was drinking up to 600mls in 24 hours.

He still drinks alot, but not nearly as much. Isn't the average about 50ml/kg/day?

I give Sheba water in her food to make sure she drinks enough as she has early kidney disease as well as diabetes.
She gets an average of 350-400 mls a day which she willingly has.
The Thrive biscuits will make Bailey want to drink more too.
It is good he is drinking...better that then getting dehydrated.
Looking forward to seeing a photo of Bailey. I love Burmese cats. I used to have a female tortie Ming who was the most affectionate and delightful cat you could wish for. She lived for 21 years.
