    I agree with Sue and Rachel. That actually looks just like a fairly usual food spike to me, although she could also still be showing some of the after effects of that dive in the last cycle; you just never really know how long it takes for their little systems to readjust and settle down after something like that.

    So not to worry, Susan! If there's any way you can get in a +4, that would be nice, but (as you will have your grandson in your bed) it's not really the end of the world if you can't get another test in later because we did do a significant dose decrease - so I don't expect you'll be doing any steering this night. (Thank goodness, huh?;))

    I just went to Walmart close to me. They unfortunately did not have the half unit size. I'll have to try elsewhere another day. But thank you for the info.

    You might call around first and ask to see who carries them. They are probably less common because most humans dose more insulin than 0.5 at a time. They should have them available though - maybe for children with diabetes? Be sure they measure in half units before you leave the store - most stores won't let you return syringes.

    They won't let you return ANY blood items...the self checkout beeps for override on EVERY item :stop:
