Look at that. Green for a solid 12 hours. Nice! It was probably even longer than that considering he was only 110 at +7 last night and coasting down.

This morning was another dose dilemma. I knew the 94 was lower than my last measurement. He also didn't eat much. But there's nothing inherently concerning about a 94, so I went ahead with another full dose and just resolved myself to getting up again in a couple of hours to check his progress. He was down just a smidge at +4 so I just let him cruise.

Long about +9, he started making a nuisance of himself. He was running around the kitchen meowing like he was hungry. A test revealed he was 61. There were still a couple hours to go before PMPS and the fasting time was rapidly approaching, and I didn't want to be in a position to stall, so I gave him a spoonful or so of 12% Mixed Grill which he gobbled up. He shadowed me for the next hour and a half or so, and I just had to hope that he wasn't continuing to go down during that time.

PMPS was 80. I made sure he ate the rest of his share of the Mixed Grill before giving him a shot. I elected for another full dose. I hope I don't regret it tonight. But after more than two hours, I didn't think he'd still be showing a number that was highly influenced by food. We'll see.
