What a beautiful video! You can really see some of Bubba's personality. I hope to see many many updates with Bubba patrolling and happily scaring the mice population away from your car.

Congrats, Bobbie, you and Bubs had a few mini setbacks (getting stuck when using Prozinc, the eye surgery, having to use R, vacation setback, the tummy trouble, what else??), but you worked hard and look where you are now: AT THE FALLS!!!

Well everyone, it's officially 14 days at tonight's PMPS.

Thank you to everyone here that has helped us. Saying thank you just doesn't seem enough and I want y'all to know that I could not have done this without this forum. What a community of love we have here. It is truly a special group to be a part of and I am forever grateful that I found this forum.

There were bumps in the road and obstacles that we had to get through, the teeth extractions, 6 weeks later the eye removal, switching insulin, developing ketones, , being stuck in the yellow zone for quite some time, and an IBD flair up. Bubba used up a few of his nine lives this past 14 months.

There are a few people who I want to give a special thanks to: First to @Sue and Oliver (GA) who patiently guided me in the ProZinc forum and spent lots of times soothing my frazzled nerves and giving me " motherly advice " She encouraged me to switch to Lantus and without that push, I might not have. Also, special thanks to @Jill & Alex (GA) and @Libby and Lucy both who came to my rescue when Bubba developed ketones and spent hours making up Novolin R schedules to help break through the insulin resistance. We had many "date nights" during that time. They also realized that he was a late nadir cat and his lowest numbers were his AMPS and his PMPS numbers. I would have never figured that out. Thank you thank you for I am sure I would have lost him without your help. I am forever grateful to all of them and to all the rest of you who have helped me along the way.

And to @Camille and Cyclone who did another great video that I will cherish forever. You captured the essence of Bubba purrfectly. I am embarrassed to say how many times I viewed it today ,crying tears of joy each time.

Bubba wants to say thanks too.

 

What a great menu! Bubba was thrilled to see mouse ears on the menu and momma was happy for the micro brews! (and shoe-fly pie! )
