Doodles 8/24 The bean shut off the alarm for 5 more minutes and now Doodles AMPS is 1 hour late  In the middle of his breakfast but after insulin (he gets two meals) Doodles started walking away but it was more like stumbling for about 8ft with what looked like disorientation:confused: Somehow I didn't panic, talked and petted him and he went back normally to finish his food. Who the heck knows, right?

Vines and prayers to all the kitties and beans with good surfing today.

He seems fine now. It's happened before and his bg was 500 the last time. Sure he hit lower greens between PM+8.5 and this morning but don't think he went too low. Very strange and unnerving though. Even last night after dinner he was walking a little sideways for a few seconds.

With that +4 he could be heading for a bounce.

    - How low did he go between PM+8.5 (he eats a snack then) and AMPS which was an hour late
    - The staggering this morning...is he a little off with something unknown or did he go to low?
    - Late shot acting as a decrease in dose?
    - I'll never really know and maybe later will give a better idea

The staggering sounds scary, hope it was just a fluke. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

IAA can delay the bounce too. I find Neko does her lowish numbers, she holds onto decend numbers for a cycle or two, maybe blue, the the third cycle after is when the bounce hits it's stride. A late shot acts like a bit of a decrease. Paws crossed yellow is as high as he goes.

He was a bit wobbly last night for a few seconds. I feel his feet every day for coldness and so far so good. Do you think he went too low and I missed it on top of over sleeping? Not that it matters. The last time he stumbled with disorientation like this was on 7/17 at night after running low that day. Yellow is fine, of course I feel crappy for hitting the darn snooze button but it is what it is.

How scary! I'm really impressed that you stayed calm and kept him calm. I sure hope that it was just a fluke... and I'm glad to hear that he seems to be feeling just fine now. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Really not sure how that happened other than he's done it a few times before. This one was really out of the ordinary though.

Maybe just a little stiff from getting up? Doodles keep it yellow if you won't go blue. None of that crazy stuff now

Could be. He does seem to be slow even struggle slightly when getting down to his one water fountain that he lays by when drinking. It was just weird since he was in the middle of eating....could be a cramp as he does shake his hind legs from time to time.
