Its been a few days since I posted so I thought I'd stop in and say hi and to update you on Blitzen.
Tomorrow night will be one week since he started back up on the Lantus. I decided to give the 1u instead of the 2u the vet prescribed.
Blitzen is doing wonderfully, pre-shot he is usually around 155 - 180 , the amount of urine has decreased and he seems so much more alive.

Well he hasn't had a shot since yesterday morning (sat) and he's at 97 2 1/2 hours after he ate. This would be his shot time but not tonight. I'm thinking by tomorrow he may need one as I don't think he's ready to go for insulin yet but I'm thinking he's on his way.......paws crossed.
The first time he went into remission in a week , this past Thursday night was a week since he started Lantus.
